When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?
Handmade Elements | Photography | Image Treatment | Typesetting | Design
A project to recreate the cover of Billie Eilish's album, exploring the theme of emotional fragility
and vulnerability. The Japanese art form Kintsugi was used to reconstruct smashed plaster casts of my hands
and fill the cracks with gold resin, making them strong and beautiful again. The origami spider and
puppet-master strings represent lucid dreams, which feature heavily in the album lyrics.
